We gave this charming 1972 MG Midget a new lease of life after diagnosing a blown head gasket, a broken valve spring and badly pitted bores. We had a great reconditioned engine through E and M Motor Factors from Ivor Searle. As the gearbox was tired the owner took the opportunity to upgrade to a 5 speed gearbox to make the long distance road trips easier. We split the gearbox and had the rear alloy housing shortened, so that it fits into the Midget body shell, and the gearstick comes out of the original tunnel opening. Also installed was new Powerspark Ignition electronic ignition for ease of maintenance and reliability.

Recommissioning a MGC after 10 years in storage

Introducing our latest completed project! Another car all the way from Dublin This Triumph GT6 was delivered in boxes, in pieces. After a full inspection we discovered substantial corrosion to the body tub. We fully repaired and recommissioned the car back to the road after nearly 15 years off the road.
